Ironman

So... I joined the 2-week Ironman today. Basically I just need to complete Ironman distances for the swim, bike, and run. There is also an alternative offered for the swim distance where instead of the 2.4 miles in the water, you perform 2 full circuit training sets for all major muscle groups 6 times. The fitness guy conducting the event says it should be no problem for me... but my goal is to complete the swimming section by swimming. But, I will probably throw in quite a bit of bonus events 'cause I will do the 6 circuit sessions prior to the end of the event. Hmmm.... I can bang out the run in 4 outings at 6 miles per. And the bike will be the big question. It's a bit chilly outdoors right now. I may be on the trainer in the garage for 2-hour stints... just like last year. I figure I need to be on the bike from 5-6 hours.
