A Very Good Week

Yessir! A good week indeed. The first ride of the season was a blast. Met up with some of the ol' riding clan and whipped through the trail like banshees. Two full loops of Bass River and came out just before it got too dark out... though I was starting to run into things at the end. Couldn't do jack squat yesterday though; there at 8AM, meetings from 10AM through 2PM, lunch at Taco Fiesta paid for by the company, and finishing the rest of the day with a 3:30PM through 8:30PM... dinner included... dessert and all.

Today was much better! Did a 3.5 mile cross country run at lunch. Threw in a set of bicycle crunches, too! Then I got home, had a sensible dinner and headed for the gym. 5300 strides on the orbital skier burning 397 calories in 30 minutes. And it was the massive hill climb program! Just missed 400 calories... that would have been a first for me! Still up in the 170's and around 13%... but at this rate, I'll be fine before I know it!

Tomorrow? If the weather permits, I will bring the cyclocross bike to work and break 'er in for the season. Rip up the trail at corporate and work on those technical skills. I am scheduled for another night workout as well.

More as life goes on, I guess.
