
Ripped my abs up some more on Monday... went to the gym instead of the Monday ride... snow delays.
The rest of the guys made up for the ride on Tuesday. I went solo this evening. I whipped out 2 laps for a total of about 14 miles. Not bad for the second outing of the season. I pulled a 33 minute first lap and then dropped to 37 for the second. Again, not bad. Most this time of the year hover around the 45 mark. I was a bit worried about the weight gain and to see if any of the gym work has helped. I noticed that my legs were burning at the beginning and settled down. However, as I sit here typing, I can feel the weary muscles waiting for a flood of glucose. Not going to happen. I am still in the 172lbs/14% range. 2 drumsticks and a fist of rice was dinner.
Back to the gym tomorrow and a run on Friday.
