Ugh... bloated. Yes, men feel bloated too. Sluggish as well, but its the first day back from a long weekend and stacked up holidays. Anyway, weighed in at a disappointing 169.5lbs @ 12% body fat, 6:45AM. At least the extra pound wasn't necessisarily fat, but another pound none-the-less.
Ate alright: coffee and granola bar, turkey bagel sandwich and a couple of leftover wings, 24oz of Gatorade, and a small portion of steak and one-and-a-half slices of bread. Unfortunately, also about a dozen mint Hershey's kisses.
Currently feel a bit of stomach pain, but that will go away as I crank down the eats and portions.
Did a 3 mile run in shorts. Mid-30's outside with just a whisper of a breeze. Felt great... and didn't even feel like 3 miles. Good to know I have a little conditioning still left over from previously.
I plan on an evening workout tomorrow evening. I also just got some Tyr swimming goggles for my upcoming swim lessons... beginner no less. Goal here is to start to swim to supplement my running and cycling and eventually kick into a triathalon. Scary. I have also been asked to captain a Tour de Cure team again this year. Contacted the ADA today to check on a rumor that there might be an off road version. Quite a bit of interest among the riders... she is suppose to contact me tomorrow about it.
